Accessibility Statement

This website has been designed to be accessible to as many people as possible.

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we have done

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, including the menus, search, carousels and question lists. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page.
  • Pages use clear headings, so screen readers can move around them easily.
  • Every image that carries meaning has a text description.
  • Text and buttons meet the WCAG AA colour contrast standard.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site’s animations are switched off.
  • The layout adapts to phones, tablets and large screens, and text can be enlarged with your browser’s zoom.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site was last checked in October 2026, using automated testing and checks by keyboard.

Known limitations

  • The screenshots on the Demo page show an older prescribing system. Each one has a caption describing what it shows.
  • Some older documents, such as the PDF article on the Practice page, may not be fully accessible.
